Thank God I don’t have sinus problems, but my daughter, son-in-law and their children suffers badly from this. I’m sending this straight to her via e-mail. Thanks.
Yes it does work!!! It does take a while for the first time for it to drain to the other side. A while is like 30 minutes or more and several times a day the first day or two. Though I have nasal polyps and this could be the reason why it took so long. I also had a sinus infection come to life (more like I uncoverend it with th nasal cleanse) I was sick for a week, BUT, I don't need any nasal sprays and I can breathe and that is a good thing.
I'm a big fan of the neti pot as I'm in the group of those suffering from allergies and sinus problems. Sounds like you may too the way you described the pain from it.
Thanks for the great tips. I'd love to read a hub from you on essential oils sinus health like the q Q Tip method. Every little bit helps and like we all know natural is always 1,000 times better!
Thanks this is very well done! Katie :)
great hub! I love neti pots! they have been a lifesaver for me many times over. whenever I wake up feeling a bit stuffy or have a dry nose and throat, I use the neti pot with warm water (and the salt packets it came with) and I feel 100pct. better every time. I think I've prevented many colds from even coming on by using this. and yes, I have noticed that one side of my nose takes longer than the other to drain ..? who knows why? but in any case, the neti pot is something I will use always!
great hub! I have one of these neti pots, but have been scared to death that I'm going to somehow drown myself! I'm feeling more confident now, so maybe this Spring... If Sami Brady can do it, surely I can!
